New Jeep Cherokee Urbane 2015 Body Design

Jeep Automaker presented two Cherokee for Chinese Market, named 2015 Jeep Cherokee Urbane and Segeland at the Beijing Auto Show.

Both of Urbane and Sageland model has joined the premiere with two other Jeep Crossover SUV : Renegade Zi You Xia and Wrangler Sundancer. Just like the other two concept, Jeep Automaker didn’t say anything about Urbane and Sageland production version.

Jeep also not yet announced the engine which will powering the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Urbane and Sageland. But we predict that this first engine possibility for this model is the current China-Spec Cherokee engine including a MultiAir 2.4-liter or Pentastar V6 3.2-liter connected to a 9-speed automatic gearbox designed by ZF and built by Chrysler. The current China-Spec Cherokee MultiAir 2.4-liter engine is produce up to 184 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque while the Pentastar V6 3.2-liter is rated at 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft.

2015 Jeep Cherokee Urbane Body Design

Quoted from Jeep official press release, the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Urbane and Sageland body design was inspired by the historical landmarks and natural sceneries from the Shangri-La Region. The Urbane body is wrapped with Maximum Steel Metallic paint, couples the night life of a modern mega-city with glamour and elegance feel.

The Hyper Black accents come to the roof rack, door mirror caps, grille collars, front and rear fascias, wheel finish vehicle badge and antenna. While the Sageland exterior body design is painted with Ivory tri-coat Pearl color with bronze grille collars and front and rear fascia appliques. Satin Bronze chrome paint is come to the Daylight opening (DLO), roof rack, door mirror caps and tailpipes.

Moving to the interior, 2015 Jeep Cherokee Urbane is offers earth-tone color palette Piano Black interior color that continues the Shangri-La exterior inspiration. The 2015 Jeep Cherokee Urbane interior come with grey Nappa leather seats with red and Water Blue accent stitches, traditional Chinese knot design stitching on the seats and the pattern on the door appliques.

While the Segenland interior receive Chinese spirit, colors and patterns with a Dark red Nappa leather seat is come with with bright red accent stitching, floor mats with unique decorative pattern inspired by traditional Chinese windows, Chinese calligraphy design that was implemented in brush stroke patterns in the door applique.
