2016 Honda Pilot

2016 Honda Pilot with More Efficient and Powerful Engine Option

Introduced for the first time at the Chicago Auto Show few days ago, 2016 Honda Pilot seems to be the proof that Honda is getting ready for the ‘competition’ of new cars to be released next year. The best thing about this future car may be visible the most in the fact that it is a full-redesigned new ride. This fact obviously makes the car better than the previous version and for you to know, the most significant changes are seen mostly in the new engine option, in which better quality fuel economy and more power are produced.

As you may already know, there are so many new cars that are built to be better and better in fuel efficiency. This is certainly the reason why Honda needs to give something better in this detail too in order to become a considerable choice among others. For the 2016 version of Pilot, the calculation of fuel economy is known to be 21 mpg only. This will definitely put the new SUV into the class-leading category when it comes to the more efficient use of fuel in a new ride, an SUV to be more specific. This also makes the car a perfect choice for daily use of simply for a family vehicle.

In the engine cars specification, you need to know that there is an updated version of 3.5L V6 engine used by the manufacturer in order to replace the engine of the currently available car version. As told previously, this engine is more powerful than before. It can produce up to 300 horsepower while the previous one can only produce up to 250 horsepower. However, the transmission system is still the same with 6-speed automatic for the base series while higher trim level will receive something different. It is none other but 9-speed automatic transmission system.
